Growth glossary
Less jargon.
More shared meaning.
Plain-language definitions from Alchemy IBS Private Limited for the terms that appear in growth, marketing and technology conversations.
Agree the meaning before comparing the numbers.
Words such as lead, conversion and attribution can mean different things across teams. A shared definition makes the report and the next decision more useful.
These entries explain the term, show how it is used and identify a limitation or common misunderstanding. They are working definitions, not substitutes for your own agreed reporting rules.
When a term appears in a proposal or report, ask which definition is being used and whether the underlying records support it. Agreement on language is a practical part of measurement, not a cosmetic edit.
